The 2025 Poverty Bay Blues & Brews Festival is set for August 23 at Des Moines Beach Park, showcasing live performances by Hank Shreve Band, Alison Joy Williams, The Joel Astley Band, and Hillstomp. This year's festival promises a full day of high-energy blues, with proceeds supporting the charitable work of the Rotary Club of Des Moines and Normandy Park. Attendees can also sample a curated selection of craft beers and ciders from top Northwest breweries, including Jellyfish Brewing and Georgetown Brewing Co. The festival, celebrated for its scenic waterfront setting and lively atmosphere, serves as a vital fundraising event for the Rotary Club's various service projects.
