A single-vehicle accident on Ambaum Boulevard SW in Burien resulted in one fatality early Thursday morning. The King County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that deputies arrived at the scene around 3:15 a. m. after receiving calls about a car that had crashed into a tree. Upon their arrival, they found the driver unresponsive and called for emergency medical services.

Unfortunately, the individual was declared dead at the scene shortly thereafter. This tragic incident underscores the potential dangers of driving, especially during early morning hours when visibility may be limited. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine contributing factors. Public safety officials may consider further measures to enhance road safety as a result of this incident.
