The 10th Annual Burien Public Art Walk-n-Talk is set for Sunday, August 7, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM outside Wells Fargo Bank. The walk will cover a distance of about 1. 75 miles, allowing participants to explore various public art installations throughout the city. This community event is open to walkers of all levels and welcomes pets. The City of Burien partners with The Maverick Apartments and Merrill Gardens to display local art, encouraging a pedestrian-friendly environment.

Art is showcased in windows for three-month periods, contributing to the vibrancy of downtown. Local voices emphasize the importance of integrating art into public spaces, enhancing community engagement.
