The 13th Annual Burien Public Art Walk-n-Talk will take place on July 6, 2025, offering a unique opportunity for residents to engage with local art. Starting at 2:00 p. m. at Wells Fargo Bank, the walk will cover a distance of about 1. 75 miles, showcasing 65 artistic installations throughout the city.

Participants of all abilities are welcome, promoting inclusivity in community events. The Burien Arts Commission, comprising nine appointed residents, plans public art initiatives and supports arts funding in the city. Their ongoing efforts include a long-term Public Art Plan, guiding future installations and funding allocation. Public art plays a crucial role in enhancing community identity, contrasting against the trend of uniform urban environments. Attendees can access a new public art website featuring maps and descriptions of art installations.

The event encourages participants to reflect on their personal interpretations of art as they explore Burien.
