Fire crews contained an ammonia leak in Tukwila on Monday morning, February 24, 2025, safely evacuating eight employees from the area. Authorities from Puget Sound Fire, Renton Regional Fire Authority, South King Fire & Rescue, and the Port of Seattle Fire Department collaborated to manage the situation effectively. Andover Park East was closed from South 180th Street to Costco Drive but reopened shortly before 7 a. m.
