Highline Public Schools is actively seeking paraeducators for the 2025-26 school year, highlighting their essential role in enhancing student learning. These positions offer a starting wage of $26 per hour, with bilingual paraeducators earning $32 per hour. Available roles span general education, special education, and dual language settings. The school district will host in-person hiring fairs on July 10 at White Center Heights Elementary and July 24 at Midway Elementary School, allowing applicants to engage directly with the hiring team. Additionally, virtual information sessions are available on several evenings throughout July and August for those unable to attend in person.

The responsibilities of paraeducators include assisting with class assignments, supervising students, and supporting academic goals. Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, providing an accessible opportunity for community members.
