On Friday afternoon, a Toyota RAV4 SUV crashed into the Goodwill South Attleboro Store at 115 Washington St, just missing 25 shoppers and 8 employees. The incident occurred around 3:40 p. m. , prompting a swift response from local fire crews. Fire Chief Scott T.

Lachance reported that no injuries were sustained, including by the driver, as the vehicle came to rest against clothing racks inside the store. Firefighters used hydraulic cutting tools and a tow truck to safely remove the SUV from the building. The Attleboro Building Inspection Department will conduct an inspection to ensure the store's safety before it can reopen.
