Mass. man charged with enticing person he thought was 13-year-old girl, police say

David Espinola, a 65-year-old man from Andover, was arrested on June 12 for child enticement after allegedly engaging in sexually explicit conversations with someone he believed to be a 13-year-old girl. The Tewksbury police initiated an investigation after receiving a tip on June 7 that included evidence of Espinola's online interactions. He reportedly intended to meet the girl in person, which raised concerns and led to his arrest. During his arraignment, Espinola pleaded not guilty and was released with conditions prohibiting unsupervised contact with minors. His attorney's information remains unavailable as the case progresses.
