June 13, 2025 Traffic Advisory

Boston, MALocal News

Boston will enforce parking restrictions and street closures for several events from June 14-18, 2025, including the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge Road Race and Bunker Hill Day Parade. The JP Morgan Corporate Challenge, scheduled for June 18, expects around 9,000 participants and will close streets in the Back Bay area, including Beacon Street and Boylston Street. The Pride Street Fair will take place on June 14 and 15 on Saint James Avenue, necessitating closures for the street fair. The Bunker Hill Day Parade on June 15 will follow a similar route as in previous years, impacting several streets in Charlestown. The MBTA recommends that riders purchase round-trip tickets to facilitate quicker returns during these busy days.

The city encourages attendees to walk, bike, or take public transit to mitigate traffic congestion. Parking restrictions will be in effect throughout the weekend for these events. This proactive approach aims to ensure smooth operations and safety for participants and spectators alike.
