City of Boston to Host Youth Jobs Resource Fair on May 10

Boston's Youth Jobs and Resource Fair will take place on May 10 from 11 a. m. to 3 p. m. at the Reggie Lewis Center, targeting youth aged 14 to 24.

This event, hosted by the Office of Youth Employment and Opportunity, aims to connect young attendees with over 150 employment partners and provide resources for career development. With over 2,200 registered, the city encourages advance registration at boston. gov/futureBOS. Mayor Michelle Wu stresses the importance of providing enriching opportunities for professional growth and community involvement. The fair will include entertainment from local artists and a meet-and-greet with Wally the Red Sox Mascot.

Roxbury Community College President Dr. Jonathan K. Jefferson emphasizes their commitment to experiential learning and career pathways for youth. The event aims to create a safe, family-friendly environment, with refreshments and raffle prizes available. Attendees can enter through the Gym Lobby doors on Malcolm X Boulevard.
