Public safety officials, including Boston's Police Commissioner and Chief of Emergency Services, emphasized collaboration with federal, state, and local partners to ensure a safe atmosphere. "Marathon Monday is one of the most exciting days of the year in Boston," said Mayor Wu, highlighting the city's spirit. The coordinated efforts aim to create a family-friendly environment as the marathon coincides with a Red Sox game, making it a bustling day for Boston.
