Limited-edition Boston Marathon bracelets encouraging egg hunt around city
Boston is abuzz with excitement as Marathon Monday approaches, highlighted by a special egg hunt organized by Julianna Manzi. This initiative involves hiding 2,500 Easter eggs across the city, each containing a limited-edition Boston Marathon bracelet that carries uplifting messages like "Boston Strong. " Participants are encouraged to search in their favorite local spots, particularly around the Boston Garden area. An added twist includes 25 golden eggs located in local shops, each offering a larger surprise. Inspired by her own challenges during her firstborn daughter's NICU stay, Manzi founded Names for Good to spread joy and support.
She emphasizes the importance of kindness, stating, "If you're in a position to help in any capacity, it's incumbent upon us to do so. " The bracelets serve not only as tokens of encouragement but also as a means to contribute to the Boston Children's Hospital, with all sales proceeds going to the institution. Manzi's efforts have already resulted in $250,000 donated to nonprofits nationwide, showcasing the profound impact of her mission.
