Stay Active This Spring with the ABC Forever Young Program for Older Adults

The ABC Forever Young Program, launched by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, is designed to engage older adults in a series of free outdoor activities throughout the spring. Taking place every Wednesday from 11:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m.

from April to June, the program offers a variety of activities at different city parks, promoting both fitness and social connection. Participants can look forward to games like cornhole at Edwards Playground, bocce at Langone Park, and archery at Barry Field, with each month featuring unique offerings. The initiative not only encourages physical activity but also emphasizes mental well-being and community spirit among older residents. Importantly, there will be no session on April 23 due to the Boston Public Schools' vacation, allowing for planning around community needs.
