The department is recruiting poll workers, offering stipends between $160 and $200, plus compensation for required training. Residents can register to vote until October 25, with in-person, online, and mail registration options available. Early voting will run from October 25 to October 31 at Boston City Hall and other neighborhood locations, ensuring accessibility for all voters. Voters can request mail-in ballots until October 28, with over 51,000 ballots already distributed and 11,602 returned as of October 23.

In-person absentee voting will be available until November 3, and ballot drop-off locations will be accessible until 8 p. m. on Election Day. The Election Department emphasizes the importance of timely ballot return to ensure all votes are counted. This election marks a significant civic engagement opportunity for Boston residents.
