Foxborough cop hailed as hero as body cam video of dramatic rescue released

On July 25, Patrolman Brendan Fayles heroically rescued an unresponsive driver from a burning car after it crashed into a house in Foxborough. As Fayles arrived at the scene, the vehicle was beginning to ignite, prompting him to break a side window and extricate the driver moments before flames engulfed the car. The driver, who was under the influence of alcohol, was taken to a nearby hospital and now faces charges in Wrentham District Court. For his life-saving actions, Fayles received a Life Saving Award from the Foxborough Police Department. The department commended his quick response and dedication to duty, emphasizing that such actions exemplify their mission.
