Boston, MALocal News

Anthony A. Delman, 37, faces serious charges after allegedly shooting a pregnant woman in Carver and later injuring his cousin in Dennis. The woman reported being shot in the hip while driving away from Sampson Pond, where police found bullet holes in her car. Surveillance footage linked Delman to her vehicle earlier that day, and he was arrested after fleeing into nearby woods. His cousin initially denied knowing Delman but later identified him as the shooter, claiming Delman had mental health issues.

Delman faces multiple charges, including armed assault with intent to murder and assault with a dangerous weapon on a pregnant victim. He has a lengthy criminal history with 31 arraignments on his adult record. Carver Police Chief Marc Duphily praised the cooperation between agencies that led to Delman's arrest. Delman has pleaded not guilty and is due back in court on September 15 for the Dennis shooting, with an arraignment for the Carver shooting scheduled later.
