Mass. man, 85, dies after multi-car crash on NH highway

On Monday, a multi-vehicle crash on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua resulted in the death of Joseph Casper, 85, from South Boston. At 2:48 p. m. , New Hampshire State Police troopers arrived at the scene, where an Audi Q5 had rear-ended Casper's Lexus ES, which subsequently collided with a Ram 1500 pickup truck. Casper was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead; the cause of death is still under investigation.

Candice Maple, 17, the driver of the Audi, suffered minor injuries and received hospital treatment. Brian Roberts, 50, the driver of the Ram, also sustained minor injuries but did not seek further medical attention. The incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding highway safety and driver awareness. Investigators are working to determine the exact circumstances leading up to the crash. Local authorities urge drivers to remain vigilant on the roads to prevent similar tragedies.
