Boston will enforce parking restrictions and street closures for multiple events scheduled between July and August 2025. The Open Newbury Street Series will run from July 13 to September 21, transforming Newbury Street into a pedestrian-friendly zone every Sunday. During this period, significant parking bans will be applied on nearby streets to ensure smooth access for shoppers and visitors. Additionally, the Boston Police Department will host National Night Out events in both Chinatown and Dorchester on August 4 and 5, requiring temporary parking restrictions for emergency vehicle access. The annual Chinatown August Moon Festival on August 10 will also necessitate parking limitations to accommodate festivities celebrating the harvest season.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to utilize alternative transportation methods, including walking, biking, or public transit, to navigate around the city effectively. The MBTA recommends purchasing round-trip tickets for quicker returns to avoid congestion. This series of events showcases Boston's commitment to enhancing community engagement and promoting sustainable transportation options.
