The Fine Arts Work Center (FAWC) in Provincetown, MA, is hosting summer workshops for artists and writers, providing scholarships to six emerging Boston-based writers. These scholarships cover tuition, lodging, and stipends for travel and food, aiming to support diverse voices in the arts. Among the recipients is Dana Alsamsam, a first-generation Syrian-American artist, and Prema Bangera, a neurodivergent, queer, immigrant of color. Mollie O’Leary and Oisín Rowe, both poets, join the group alongside Annaka Saari and Alli Tervo, who also have notable artistic credentials. The initiative underscores the FAWC's commitment to cultivating creativity and community among local artists.

Each recipient has a unique background, contributing to a rich tapestry of artistic expression.
