Three children, aged 14, 12, and 11, were found safe in Vermont woods after failing to return from a hike, prompting a swift search operation. The children participated in an organized camp and began a 30-minute hike at around 4 p. m. Thursday. After they did not return within 90 minutes, camp personnel contacted Vermont State Police at 6:20 p.

m. Search crews located the children shortly before 6 a. m. Friday, approximately half a mile from their camp in Duxbury. Multiple agencies contributed to the search efforts, highlighting the community's response in emergencies.
