Boston, MALocal News

Boston will enact parking restrictions and street closures due to multiple events scheduled from July 12 to September 21, 2025. The Newbury Street series, which begins on July 13 and runs every Sunday, will convert the street into a pedestrian-only walkway, allowing for greater access to shoppers and diners. The city will implement a 15-minute drop-off area on Berkeley and Clarendon Streets during this series. On July 12, the Boston Little Saigon Night Market will take place on Dorchester Avenue, featuring food vendors and cultural experiences. Concerts at Fenway Park, featuring The Lumineers and Thomas Rhett, will occur from July 17-19, necessitating additional temporary parking restrictions.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to choose alternative transportation methods, such as walking, biking, or using the MBTA, which advises round-trip ticket purchases for efficiency. Parking restrictions will be enforced on several streets surrounding these events to ensure public safety and accessibility. These changes reflect the city's commitment to enhancing community engagement and promoting local culture.
