Kostka described being assaulted by three men who shouted homophobic slurs during the attack. Police are appealing to the community for assistance, asking residents to check their security cameras for relevant footage. In a related incident, police quickly responded to reports of slurs being yelled from a vehicle, successfully identifying the suspects involved. Town Manager Alex Morse announced that additional officers will patrol the area during the Fourth of July weekend to deter harmful behavior.
