HOME-ARP Plan - Minor Amendment 3

Boston, MALocal News

The Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH) has made a Minor Amendment to the HOME Investment Partnership–American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) Allocation Plan to better address housing needs. The amendment increases Boston’s HOME-ARP grant by $32,251, resulting in a total of $21. 6 million. It also reallocates $1. 3 million from supportive services and administration budgets to affordable rental housing development.

The scale of these changes does not necessitate a Substantial Amendment, as the increase is under $100,000 and budget adjustments are below 10% of the total grant amount. MOH will inform HUD and the public but will not hold a public comment period for this amendment. These adjustments are part of ongoing efforts to provide housing and services to the homeless and other vulnerable populations in Boston. The HOME-ARP Plan and its amendments are accessible to the public for further details. Stakeholders can reach out with inquiries via email or phone.
