Mazy, a sweet senior cat, overcomes injuries and awaits adoption

Mazy, a sweet 9-year-old domestic shorthair cat, arrived at MSPCA-Angell on June 10 after suffering facial injuries and broken teeth. A veterinarian suspected animal cruelty due to the nature of her injuries, prompting an investigation by MSPCA Law Enforcement. On June 18, Mazy underwent surgery to remove 10 broken teeth and address age-related dental issues. Despite her discomfort, Mazy remains affectionate and playful, showcasing her resilience. The MSPCA aims to find her a loving adoptive home.

Interested adopters can visit the Boston Adoption Center from Tuesday to Sunday, noon to 3 p. m. Donations to support Mazy’s care and other animals are welcomed at mspca. org/mazy. The MSPCA is committed to both investigating her injuries and ensuring her recovery.
