The crash occurred at approximately 1 p. m. near 24 Rowell St. Witness Dylan Ibanez described seeing his apartment filled with smoke from the drywall as the van struck his home.

Nursing student Bayla Foley, who helped the driver, noted a loud screech before the collision, suggesting a possible loss of control. Boston EMS reported that the driver was conscious but appeared confused and complained of hip pain. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, which is currently under investigation by local authorities.
