Parks Appreciation Day 2025 - City of Bonney Lake

The City of Bonney Lake is gearing up for its annual Parks Appreciation Day on April 26, 2025, from 9 a. m. to noon at Allan Yorke Park. This event invites community members to participate in beautification projects, including trail maintenance, litter cleanup, and painting park amenities. Volunteers should wear suitable clothing and footwear for the outdoor tasks.

Alongside these efforts, a Shred Event will offer residents the opportunity to securely dispose of sensitive documents, with a limit of three shopping bags per person. All shredding will occur on-site, ensuring the safety of personal information. This initiative not only aims to enhance the park's appearance but also fosters community involvement and environmental stewardship. The event highlights the importance of maintaining local green spaces and encourages residents to take pride in their community.
