A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a Bonney Lake police patrol car on Monday night. The incident occurred around 11:58 p. m. on 214th Ave E near 106th St E, when the individual walked northbound in the southbound lanes. Officers responded quickly, treating the injured person at the scene before calling for an ambulance.

The pedestrian was taken to Tacoma General Hospital and released shortly thereafter. Local authorities are investigating the collision to determine the circumstances surrounding the event. This incident highlights the importance of pedestrian safety, especially in areas with mixed traffic flow.
