Allan Yorke Park Seasonal Paid Parking Information

Bonney Lake, WALocal News

The City of Bonney Lake has announced the introduction of seasonal paid parking at Allan Yorke Park, beginning July 10, 2024, to enhance crowd control and support ongoing park maintenance. As the city's largest park, Allan Yorke attracts numerous visitors, many from outside the local area, prompting the need for this initiative. Seasonal paid parking will be implemented from May 1 to October 1, with fees set at $4 for four hours or $10 for an entire day. However, visitors can enjoy free parking during city-sponsored events, which start 30 minutes before the event begins. Payment options are facilitated by the ParkMobile app, allowing for a seamless and contactless experience.

The revenue generated from this program will be allocated back into park improvements through the Parks Capital Improvement Program. Users must enter their full license plate number to avoid citations, and no refunds or advance payments are allowed. This initiative aims to ensure that all park users contribute to the upkeep of Bonney Lake's vital green spaces.
