Man arrested following drive-by shooting north of Bellingham

Deputies quickly located the suspect's car on Wiser Lake Road, where a passenger confirmed that the driver had discharged a handgun during a confrontation with another vehicle.

Eyewitnesses recounted that the suspect had pointed a pistol at the other car after aggressively passing it on the shoulder of the road. After firing the weapon toward Woodlawn Cemetery, deputies recovered the firearm and ammunition from the suspect's vehicle. The driver was arrested and charged with drive-by shooting and unlawful handling of a weapon.
