Boundary Bay Brewery celebrates 30 years of business with final block party this weekend
Boundary Bay Brewery will close a portion of Railroad Avenue on Sept. 20 to host a block party commemorating its 30 years in business. The brewery partners with the Bellingham Farmer’s Market to facilitate an all-ages beer garden featuring chef demonstrations, food vendors, and live music. Attendees can enjoy performances from local acts, including Bottle of Smoke and Sleepy Alligators, on two stages set up for the event. The celebration will span over 12 hours, fostering community spirit and engagement.
This event is particularly poignant as Boundary Bay Brewery announced its closure late last year, making this block party a final celebration for loyal patrons. The brewery has been a staple in the Bellingham community, contributing to its local culture and economy. Guests can find a comprehensive list of activities on the Boundary Bay website. This gathering not only highlights the brewery's legacy but also reflects the strong community ties in Bellingham.
