Aeromexico and Delta Air Lines Expand Flights Between Mexico and the U.S. Starting June 5

Atlanta, GALocal News

Aeromexico and Delta Air Lines are poised to expand their flight services between Mexico and the United States, launching two new daily routes starting June 5. The new connections will link Mexico City with Philadelphia and San Luis Potosi with Atlanta, significantly enhancing travel options for customers. This expansion is a reflection of an eight-year joint cooperation agreement that has led to substantial growth, including the addition of 28 new scheduled and seasonal routes in 2024. Aeromexico emphasized that Philadelphia was the largest U. S.

market without direct flights to Mexico City, thus making this new service a pivotal development. The Philadelphia route will be serviced by Boeing 737 aircraft equipped with modern amenities such as personal entertainment screens and Wi-Fi connectivity. Meanwhile, the San Luis Potosi to Atlanta route will operate on Embraer 190 aircraft, underscoring its importance as a business link for the region's thriving automotive sector. The overall expansion will increase the total number of destinations between the U. S.

and Mexico to 26, supported by a daily operation of 90 flights. This strategic move is expected to provide travelers with more options and enhance connectivity between the two nations.
