Greene's artistic journey began as a technical illustrator, and he eventually founded Gary Greene Artworks, where he showcased his diverse talents as a self-taught photographer and artist. Describing himself as a graduate of the "University of Hard Knocks," Greene's work was marked by a unique perspective and creativity.

His legacy includes not only his artistic contributions but also his deep devotion to family and community. Greene's passing marks a significant loss for those who knew him and for the local culture he helped shape.
