CITY NEWS I SUMMER 2025
Woodinville has launched a pilot program with Lime for a scooter and bike share service, running from June 16 to October 1. The city encourages residents, businesses, and riders to provide feedback through a QR code or the city website, emphasizing community engagement. Alongside this initiative, the city celebrated the completion of Eastrail Flats, the first affordable housing project in 20 years, which includes 26 units for families earning 50% or less of the area median income. This achievement reflects a successful collaboration between the city and MainStreet Development, along with ARCH, to meet community housing needs. The Eastrail Flats development also adds 24,000 square feet of retail space, contributing to downtown revitalization.
The city will continuously gather feedback on the Lime pilot and report findings to the City Council in the future. The construction of a roundabout at 133rd Avenue NE and improvements to SR202 and the Trestle Bridge are also planned. The city aims to keep residents informed through its new project website, Project. Woodinville. gov.
