Costumed Fox and Cameraman Scandalize Golden Triangle BID

On April 10, a person dressed in a fox costume threatened a security guard in the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District. The guard reported that the individual stated, “You are a dead man walking,” after attempting to gain elevator access. The Golden Triangle BID has since filed a Suspicious Activity Report, clarifying that the individuals involved have no connection to the organization. This incident underscores the broad range of issues D. C.

BIDs must address, from crime to emergency preparedness. Various local residents captured videos of the duo, which circulated widely on social media, contributing to the incident's viral nature. The BID's letter to property managers included a photo of the incident and detailed the security officer's response. As of now, the Metropolitan Police Department has not commented on the matter.
