The total count revealed an 18. 1% decline among families and a 4. 5% reduction among unaccompanied individuals. The count also highlighted a 10. 5% decrease in homelessness among transition age youth, underscoring the positive impact of targeted services. Notably, Project Reconnect successfully diverted nearly 400 individuals from entering the homeless services system over the past year. The District's investments in innovative programs and supportive case management have been crucial in driving these improvements.
