Bowser Administration Celebrates 25th Anniversary of V-Tech Solutions and Grand Opening of the Holt Building

The Bowser Administration celebrated V-Tech Solutions' 25th anniversary and the opening of the newly renovated Holt Building in Ward 2. The project, costing $4. 5 million, received over $929,000 in grants aimed at bolstering local business and job creation. V-Tech Solutions, founded by Victor P. Holt, will operate its corporate headquarters from the Holt Building, which will also include the Dripbar IV MedSpa and the Holt Family Foundation.

Deputy Mayor Nina Albert underscored the goal of these funding initiatives to establish permanent business roots and foster economic growth in the community. Holt, who is also involved in the National HUBZone Council, advocates for policies that enhance access to capital for underserved communities. The District's ongoing investments support local entrepreneurs and aim to strengthen commercial corridors. Key funding initiatives include $2. 4 million for the Technology Ecosystem Fund and $52 million through the DC Venture Capital Program.

These efforts reflect the administration's focus on sustainable economic development and job creation for DC residents.
