Holt, a U. S. Air Force veteran, stressed the significance of public investment in fostering small business growth and innovation. Deputy Mayor Nina Albert stated that the funding programs are designed to create sustainable economic opportunities in the District. The newly renovated Holt Building symbolizes the collaboration between public investment and private enterprise aimed at enhancing local job opportunities.
