V-Tech, founded by Victor P.

Holt, a US Air Force veteran, is committed to creating job opportunities for DC residents. The Holt Building will serve as V-Tech's headquarters, a new Dripbar IV MedSpa, and the Holt Family Foundation, which focuses on education and workforce development. Deputy Mayor Nina Albert underscored the significance of these funds in establishing lasting business presence in the community. Holt, who also advocates for small business policies, noted the event’s representation of successful public-private partnerships. The Bowser Administration continues to prioritize investments that support local entrepreneurs and sustainable economic development.

Key initiatives include $2. 4 million for tech startups and $52 million through the DC Venture Capital Program to enhance access to capital.
