The Bowser Administration celebrated the 25th anniversary of V-Tech Solutions and the grand opening of the renovated Holt Building in Ward 2. This $4. 5 million project received over $929,000 in grants from the District's Commercial Property Acquisition Fund and the Small Medium Business Growth Fund to enhance local economic growth. Founded by US Air Force veteran Victor P. Holt, V-Tech Solutions will serve as the building's corporate headquarters, alongside the Dripbar IV MedSpa and the Holt Family Foundation.

Deputy Mayor Nina Albert noted that the funding aims to create long-term economic opportunities for DC residents. Holt, who also serves on the National HUBZone Council, advocates for policies that support small business growth in underserved communities. The DC administration's FY26 Grow DC Budget outlines significant investments to aid local entrepreneurs, including $2. 4 million for the Technology Ecosystem Fund. These initiatives seek to strengthen commercial corridors and promote sustainable economic development.

The collaboration between public investment and small business innovation exemplifies the potential for growth in the District's economy.
