The $4. 5 million renovation project was backed by over $929,000 in grants, enabling V-Tech to establish a permanent headquarters and expand its services.

The Holt Building will also host a new health and wellness venture and the Holt Family Foundation, which focuses on education and workforce development. Deputy Mayor Nina Albert highlighted the significance of local investment in fostering long-term economic opportunities. Victor Holt, who also advocates for small business development, expressed pride in the collaborative efforts of public and private sectors. The Bowser Administration's FY26 Grow DC Budget includes key investments aimed at supporting small businesses and job creation. Such initiatives underline the District's strategy to enhance its technology ecosystem and commercial corridors.
