The Bowser Administration celebrated V-Tech Solutions' 25th anniversary and the grand opening of the Holt Building in Ward 2, a significant milestone for the DC technology firm. Founded by US Air Force veteran Victor P. Holt, V-Tech Solutions aims to strengthen the local economy and create job opportunities. The $4. 5 million renovation was supported by over $929,000 in grants from the District’s Commercial Property Acquisition Fund and Small Medium Business Growth Fund.

The Holt Building will not only serve as V-Tech's headquarters but will also host a new health venture and the Holt Family Foundation, focusing on education and workforce development. Deputy Mayor Nina Albert noted that these funds are designed to help local businesses establish a permanent presence and grow sustainably. Victor Holt, advocating for policies that support small business development, emphasized the importance of public investment merging with commercial banking. The Bowser Administration's FY26 Grow DC Budget includes key investments to support local entrepreneurs, including $2. 4 million for the Technology Ecosystem Fund and $52 million for the DC Venture Capital Program.

These initiatives aim to expand job creation and drive long-term economic growth in the District.
