Bowser Administration Celebrates 25th Anniversary of V-Tech Solutions and Grand Opening of the Holt Building

The Bowser Administration celebrated the 25th anniversary of V-Tech Solutions, Inc. and the grand opening of the newly renovated Holt Building in Ward 2. Founded by Victor P. Holt, a native Washingtonian and US Air Force veteran, V-Tech Solutions received over $929,000 in grants from the District’s Commercial Property Acquisition Fund and the Small Medium Business Growth Fund, contributing to a $4. 5 million project.

The Holt Building will accommodate V-Tech’s corporate headquarters, a new health and wellness venture, and the Holt Family Foundation, which focuses on education and workforce development. Deputy Mayor Nina Albert highlighted the role of these funds in creating sustainable economic opportunities for local businesses. Holt, who advocates for small business development as Vice Chair of the National HUBZone Council, noted the event showcases successful public and private investment collaboration. The Bowser Administration's FY26 Grow DC Budget includes significant investments aimed at supporting local entrepreneurs and boosting job creation. Key allocations include $2.

4 million for the Technology Ecosystem Fund and $52 million for the DC Venture Capital Program. These initiatives are designed to expand access to capital and foster long-term growth within the District.
