More than $929,000 in grants were allocated from the District's Commercial Property Acquisition Fund and the Small Medium Business Growth Fund.

Deputy Mayor Nina Albert noted that these funds are critical for establishing local businesses and creating economic opportunities. Victor P. Holt, founder of V-Tech, emphasized the success of public investment in fostering small business innovation. The District plans to support entrepreneurs through initiatives like the Technology Ecosystem Fund and the DC Venture Capital Program. These efforts reflect the Bowser Administration's commitment to job creation and sustainable growth.

V-Tech's expansion serves as a model for leveraging local resources to enhance the economy.
