The initiative also includes adaptive cycling sessions for individuals with disabilities, promoting inclusivity in cycling. Since 2021, DDOT has upgraded over 140 older stations and introduced a solar canopy pilot for e-bikes. The District's investments in multimodal transportation have resulted in the construction of 55 miles of bike lanes and the expansion of the trail network.
