The Bowser Administration celebrated the 25th anniversary of V-Tech Solutions and the grand opening of the Holt Building in Ward 2, a significant milestone for the local technology firm. Founded by Victor P. Holt, a US Air Force veteran, V-Tech Solutions has been instrumental in enhancing the local economy. The $4. 5 million renovation project received over $929,000 in grants from the District’s Commercial Property Acquisition Fund and the Small Medium Business Growth Fund.

Deputy Mayor Nina Albert noted these funds are crucial for helping local businesses establish a permanent presence in DC. Victor Holt, who also serves on several boards advocating for small business development, praised the collaboration between public investment and innovation. The Bowser Administration aims to support local entrepreneurs through its FY26 Grow DC Budget, which includes $2. 4 million for the Technology Ecosystem Fund and $52 million for the DC Venture Capital Program. These initiatives are designed to create jobs and foster sustainable economic growth in the area.

The event underscores the importance of local ownership and investment in community development.
