Bowser Administration Celebrates 25th Anniversary of V-Tech Solutions and Grand Opening of the Holt Building

The Bowser Administration celebrated V-Tech Solutions' 25th anniversary and the grand opening of the Holt Building in Ward 2. Founded by Victor P. Holt, a DC native and veteran, V-Tech is a certified business enterprise that has significantly contributed to the local economy. The $4. 5 million renovation project, funded by over $929,000 in grants, will serve as V-Tech's new headquarters and also include a health venture and a family foundation.

Deputy Mayor Nina Albert stated that these funding programs aim to create long-term economic opportunities for local businesses. Victor Holt, who also serves on various boards advocating for underserved communities, noted the importance of public investment in fostering small business innovation. The Bowser Administration's FY26 Grow DC Budget focuses on supporting small business expansion and job creation. Upcoming investments include $2. 4 million for technology startups and $52 million for venture capital funding.

This initiative aims to strengthen local entrepreneurship and enhance the District's economic landscape.
