Bowser Administration Celebrates 25th Anniversary of V-Tech Solutions and Grand Opening of the Holt Building

The $4. 5 million renovation project received over $929,000 from the District’s Commercial Property Acquisition Fund and Small Medium Business Growth Fund, showcasing a commitment to local business growth. Victor P. Holt, a US Air Force veteran and founder of V-Tech, emphasized the vital role of public investment in fostering innovation.

The Holt Building will house V-Tech’s headquarters, a new health venture, and the Holt Family Foundation, which focuses on education and workforce development. Local leaders, including Deputy Mayor Nina Albert, highlighted the importance of these programs in creating long-term economic opportunities. The Bowser Administration's FY26 Grow DC Budget includes significant investments to support small businesses and drive job creation. Key initiatives include $2. 4 million for the Technology Ecosystem Fund and $52 million through the DC Venture Capital Program.

These efforts aim to strengthen commercial corridors and build a more sustainable economy in Washington, DC.
