Bowser Administration Celebrates 25th Anniversary of V-Tech Solutions and Grand Opening of the Holt Building

The Bowser Administration celebrated the 25th anniversary of V-Tech Solutions and the grand opening of the newly renovated Holt Building in Ward 2. This $4. 5 million project was made possible with over $929,000 in grants from the District’s Commercial Property Acquisition Fund and the Small Medium Business Growth Fund. Victor Holt, a US Air Force veteran and founder of V-Tech, emphasized the significance of public investment in supporting local businesses. The Holt Building will host V-Tech's headquarters, the Dripbar IV MedSpa, and the Holt Family Foundation, which focuses on education and workforce development.

The Bowser Administration's initiatives include a $2. 4 million Technology Ecosystem Fund to promote local tech startups and $52 million through the DC Venture Capital Program to enhance access to capital for early-stage businesses. These investments aim to create jobs and deepen local economic roots. Holt also advocates for small business development as Vice Chair of the National HUBZone Council. The celebration highlights the District's commitment to fostering a robust local economy through strategic partnerships and investments.
