Mayor Bowser Delivers First Housing and Homeownership Opportunities at Reservoir District on Former McMillan Site

Vision McMillan Partners, EYA, and other developers are involved in the initiative, which includes additional apartments and retail spaces. Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie expressed pride in the project, noting its reflection of community values and the long-standing efforts to realize this development.

The townhomes feature designs that complement the site's historic structures, enhancing the area's aesthetic. This project aligns with Bowser's Growth Agenda and her commitment to affordable housing, supported by substantial funding in her FY26 Budget. Additionally, the Reservoir District announced a summer event series aimed at fostering community engagement and enjoyment of the new neighborhood amenities.
