Deputy Mayor for Education Paul Kihn remarked, “Our job is to make opportunity easy to access and hard to miss. ” The launch of the Out of School Time DC portal earlier this year has made it easier for parents to search and register for summer activities. Available programs include academic enrichment, fitness classes, and outdoor adventures. The District collaborates with various agencies to offer these enriching experiences.
